General Math Announcements:
We are entering rates-ratios-proportions-percents. These topics will build on your understanding of equivalent
fractions, so this should be a smooth section for you.
2nd Quarter Benchmark Exams for Math are scheduled for December 7-8. These will include fractions, decimals, percents,
rates, ratios, proportions, one-step equations using fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals. We are practicing word
problems for these every day in class.
Chapter 10 test will be Wednesday, November 28. The Math Fact quiz and Flashcard Test will be given after Benchmarks.
